Meg Munn Meets Primark Recruit

Sabia, pictured on the right with Megg Mun MP and the manager of Primark, Meadowhall, is one of our success stories. Using the interview techniques and communication skills which she developed she was able to get a part-time job at Primark. She says, 'I am very grateful to Darnall Forum and the Full Employment Zone for supporting me in getting a better job.'

Parkway Iconic Bridge Design Competition

Your chance to comment on the design proposals
The images featured here are the short listed entries from a design competition for the proposed Parkway Bridge between Sheffield and Rotherham. The competition is being organised by the Royal Institute of British Architects on behalf of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and Sheffield City Council in partnership with Yorkshire Forward.

The entries have been submitted by architects and engineers, and a panel of judges made up of commun-ity represent-atives and local authority officers will meet on the 11th December to pick out the winning design.
To assist the judges we would like to know which entries you like and why. We would also like to hear from you about the main things that you like about these designs and also the things that you would not be happy with. Please email your comments to Lesley.Shepherd@rotherham.gov.uk by Sunday 9th December.

Until Wednes-day morning the designs can also be viewed at the Darnall Forum offices.
