This
weekend HOPE not Hate supporters around the country are holding #MoreInCommon
events in their local communities to remember and celebrate the life of Jo Cox,
the Yorkshire MP who was murdered in June.
Although the centrepiece will be a
large community fun day in Batley, Jo’s hometown, there will be large and
smaller community events happening up and down the country, including community
picnics and bulb planting sessions.
We are proud
to be including a #MoreinCommon picnic in our Darnall Carnival
celebrations, starting at 1pm in High Hazels Park. Bring a picnic to share on
the grass or buy some food from the caterers who will be running stalls at the
event.
