As
winter approaches, the effects of Coronavirus continue to trap people in
poverty. Food banks in the Trussell Trust network are forecast to provide a
staggering six emergency food parcels every minute. This cannot be right.
In
my interview this morning on the Toby Foster show I highlighted the importance
of providing food packs to struggling families and how it’s never the child’s
fault. I shared that Darnall Forum will strive to ensure no family goes to
sleep on a empty stomach.
